Sowing campaign of sunflower and corn comes to an end - Sowing online 2019/20

In Ukraine, agrarians sowed 98% and 95% of the corn and sunflower areas, respectively, from the forecast.
This is evidenced by the data of the "Sowing Online 2019/20" project.
In total, farmers sowed 14.87 million hectares of spring grain, legumes and industrial crops as of May 21, which is 96% of the projected 15.56 million hectares.
In the context of spring cereals, legumes and industrial crops, farmers sowed:
corn - 5.25 million ha, or 98% of the forecast of 5.39 million ha;
buckwheat - 40.97 thousand ha, or 55% of the forecast of 75 thousand ha;
millet - 40.77 thousand ha, or 52% of the forecast of 78.01 thousand ha;
sunflower - 5.9 million ha, or 95% of the forecast of 6.2 million ha;
soybeans - 1.26 million ha, or 87% of the forecast of 1.45 million ha.
The farmers also completed the sowing of spring wheat (184.53 thousand ha), spring barley (1.52 million ha), oats (186.35 thousand ha), peas (282.71 thousand ha) and sugar beets (209, 01 thousand ha).
