Sunflower harvesting is coming to the finish line in Ukraine - Harvest online 2020
As of November 2, Ukrainian agricultural producers have already harvested 70.5 million tons of basic crops from an area of 21.8 million hectares, of which grains and legumes account for 53.5 million tons (13.5 million hectares, 88%).
This is evidenced by the data of the project "Harvest Online 2020".
In terms of cultures, the following is threshed:
wheat - 25.1 million tons from an area of 6.56 million hectares (100%) with an average yield of 3.83 tons / ha;
barley - 7.77 million tons from an area of 2.38 million hectares (100%) with an average yield of 3.26 tons / ha;
peas - 516.2 thousand tons from an area of 237.7 thousand hectares (100%) with an average yield of 2.17 tons / ha;
buckwheat - 100.3 thousand tons from an area of 77.7 thousand hectares (98%) with an average yield of 1.29 tons / ha;
millet - 240.4 thousand tons from an area of 147.8 thousand hectares (98%) with an average yield of 1.63 t / ha;
sunflower - 12.1 million tons from an area of 6.06 million hectares (95%) with an average yield of 2 tons / ha;
soybeans - 2.4 million tons from an area of 1.2 million hectares (88%) with an average yield of 2.04 t / ha;
corn - 17.6 million tons from an area of 3.6 million hectares (66%) with an average yield of 4.9 tons / ha.
In addition, 5.1 million tons of sugar beet were dug up on an area of 124 thousand hectares (57%) with an average yield of 41.15 tons / ha.
Also, farmers harvested 2.55 million tons of rapeseed from an area of 1.11 million hectares (100%) with an average yield of 2.29 tons / ha.
