“As for the ambiguous public opinion about the adoption of the law on the land market, I do not get tired of reminding everyone that the only clearly articulated promise in the election program of President Vladimir Zelensky is just the opening of the land market. The people chose Zelensky - which means they have chosen the land market. In rural districts, up to 80% of voters voted for him. What questions can anyone have now? ” - says the founder of Ristone Holdings.

Vadim Nesterenko previously announced the untimely introduction of the land market. According to him, first of all, because the government institutions themselves are not ready for the opening of such a complex market.

“Agrarians are well aware of the current state of the land registry and the level of corruption of these land issues. And everyone perfectly understands how great are the risks of fraud, unauthorized re-registration of land allotments. The land market for Ukraine and the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex is definitely needed, but I still remain in my opinion, ”he said.

However, he believes that during the discussion of this bill, important changes were made to the original version. In particular, it is correct that at the first stage foreign corporations were not allowed to buy land, that preferences were given primarily to domestic agricultural producers.

“But I think that in the process of implementation the adopted law will be clarified and supplemented, some restrictions will undergo changes, since in any case all its norms should be sharpened primarily on Ukrainian farmers and the issues of intensive development of domestic agribusiness. I have no doubt that the President will sign this law, but what decision the Constitutional Court will make, as they say, wait and see, ”he added.

Recall that the G7 ambassadors welcomed the adoption of the bill on land market No. 2178-10 in Ukraine, as well as the banking sector.
