The government authorized the sale of spare parts for agricultural machinery during quarantine

By the Government decision, amendments were made to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 211 “On preventing the spread of acute respiratory illness COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus” in Ukraine, which expand the list of economic activities allowed during quarantine.

This was reported by the press service of the ministry.

So, during quarantine it is allowed:

• sale of spare parts for vehicles, including tractors and other agricultural machinery;
• sale of daily young poultry;
• the functioning of all types of financial institutions, including pawnshops and credit unions.

“We are working to ensure the optimal functioning of key sectors for the country under quarantine conditions. The adopted amendments soften the conditions for doing business, activate agricultural companies for the spring sowing campaign, simplify public access to financial resources and strengthen the implementation of the introduced anti-epidemic measures, ”commented Igor Petrashko, Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.

The Government also provided a number of recommendations to business, which will help reduce the queues and congestion of visitors in stores and ensure the implementation of the introduced anti-epidemic measures, in particular:

• work pharmacies around the clock;
• admit visitors to the trading floors, with the expectation of not more than one visitor per 10 m2 of area, and in compliance with 1.5 m of distance.

Recall that the Government agreed on amendments to the decree on quarantine measures dated March 16, 2020 No. 211, which allow the wholesale trade in food products, plant protection products and veterinary products.
