A Digital Trading System for Land Plots Will Be Launched in Ukraine

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a pilot project for organizing and conducting land auctions online. This allows buyers to bid without being physically present. Any transactions can be carried out through the auction – sale and purchase, lease, superficies, emphyteusis, etc.

The head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy Roman Leshchenko said that the project contains all the technical requirements and legal norms that will allow the launch of a digital trading project. Thanks to this, Ukraine will get rid of the old format of trading with a physical presence.

Previously, in Ukraine, land transactions were available only in the case of the physical presence of the auction participants. This made operations with land plots inaccessible to many companies since the necessary information support was lacking. Trading will be carried out on the basis of ProZorro. The technical support will be entrusted to the Ministry of Economy, which runs ProZorro.
