A record corn harvest is expected in Ukraine

A record corn harvest is expected in Ukraine in 2021. This was announced by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Roman Leshchenko. According to the head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the harvest is expected at the level of 40 million tons of corn. This is the best indicator in the entire history of independence.

Leshchenko said that there are serious plans for corn processing. They plan to make biofuels (including gas), animal feed, glucose, amino acids, and much more from it. These goods are expected to bring the country tens of billions of dollars.

In addition, Leshchenko said that in 2022, it is planned to revise the tax policy for agricultural companies, and organizations will be exempted from many types of taxes.
