An increase in prices for soybeans for factories and ports was spotted in Ukraine

In January, there was a significant increase in prices for soybeans in ports in Ukraine. The cost of a ton of products in ports has already reached UAH 16,500, and it continues to grow. Experts note that prices will continue to grow, and it is likely that by the end of the month, the cost of a ton of soybeans may reach UAH 17,000.

There are large stocks of soybeans in Ukraine, but there is not much supply on the market. Purchase prices began to rise in December, and this trend continued in January. Two countries, Egypt and Turkey, show great interest in purchasing these products.

Currently, plants specializing in soybean processing buy it at the cost of UAH 16,200 per ton. However, in the future, the upward trend in prices is expected to continue, and the cost may reach UAH 16,500. In ports, soybeans are already traded at UAH 16,500 per ton and continue to rise in price. Toward the end of the month, the cost may reach 17,000 UAH. This is due to a very limited supply because there are situations when ships are idle in ports, and it is problematic to buy soybeans.
