China is the main buyer of Ukrainian grain

China became the main importer of Ukrainian agricultural products within the "grain corridor". As reported by a number of mass media with reference to data from the Weekly Chart project, export rates exceeded even pre-war indicators.

It is known that as part of the "grain agreement" only in March 2023, 25 ships with 1.2 million tons of cargo were sent from Ukraine to China. During the period of the "grain agreement", China became the main buyer of Ukrainian grain, receiving almost a third of the total 26 million tons of cargo transported through the sea corridor.

At the same time, Ukrainian grain exported to China is traded at a significant discount due to military risks.
