Germany will support Ukrainian farmers

During the meeting with the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi, the Minister of Agriculture of the Federal Republic of Germany G.Ozdemir, emphasized that his country intends to support the work of the agricultural sector of our country.

In particular, according to G.Ozdemir, by the end of this year, the Ukrainian side will receive 9 million euros for the purchase of generators, as well as for assistance in the restoration of farms affected by the war.

The meeting also discussed a joint project worth 5 million euros, which will be aimed at the development of Ukrainian horticulture. Regarding this project, Mykola Solsky noted that it is very relevant for Ukraine. According to him, there is currently a government program that will provide an opportunity to receive a grant for the development of own horticulture, berry growing and viticulture, and which is very popular among farmers. Thus, within five months of its launch, more than UAH 240 million in grants were agreed upon.
