Poland Plans to Build a New Grain Terminal to Help Ukraine

The Polish government plans to build a new grain storage terminal. It will ensure the export of Ukrainian grain on a large scale. This was discussed at the meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture of Poland. The estimated area of the new terminal will be 100,000 tons. This will allow storing both Ukrainian and Polish grain.

Within the framework of the meeting, the situation with logistical possibilities regarding the transport of food products from Ukraine was analyzed. Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture discussed the problems that exist in the field of transportation of Ukrainian agricultural products at border crossings, railway transport, and seaports.

Officials said that further improvement of the work of border crossings and increasing the capacity of railways are priorities that will increase the possibility of transporting products in the conditions of a transport blockade of Ukrainian ports.
