Presidents of six African countries will visit Ukraine and Russia

In June 2023, a delegation of the presidents of six African states will visit Ukraine and Russia. The agenda will include issues of increasing the export of agricultural products, as well as fertilizers. This was announced by a member of the negotiation group Jean-Yves Olivier.

The leaders of South Africa, Senegal, Congo, Egypt, Zambia, and Uganda will visit Ukraine and the Russian Federation. According to the negotiator, they will look for a way to pay for Russian fertilizers – these goods are under sanctions, but Africa badly needs them. Since the terrorist country does not have access to SWIFT, African representatives will look for an option to pay for grain deliveries in alternative ways.

The visit of the Presidents of African countries has been approved by the US, China, the UN, the EU, and the African Union. Jean-Yves Olivier said that the heads of state hope to find mutual understanding with the presidents of Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
