The First Land Plot Was Sold Through the Prozorro.Sales Site

For the first time in the history of Ukraine, a state-owned land plot was sold to a private person through the Prozorro.Sales site. It was a non-agricultural plot with an area of ​​0.23 hectares. The seller was the Kamenka-Buzhsky city council of the Lviv region.

Three stakeholders took part in the auction. Andrey Mazurak was announced the winner of the auction. He offered the highest price for the plot – over UAH 3 million. The starting price of the lot was UAH 704,000. Thus, during the auction, the price increased more than 3 times.

Previously through the Prozorro.Sales system, several leases had been conducted. In particular, the authorities of Drohobych leased a plot of 1.3 hectares for non-agricultural purposes. The rental price was 227,000 UAH per year. As of November 8, 2021, 510 land auctions have been announced in the system, 175 of which are for land sales.
