The government extended lending under the "5-7-9%" program

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved changes to the Procedure for providing financial state support, according to which the program "Affordable loans 5-7-9%" is implemented. As the representative of the Government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk reported, changes were also made to the Procedure for providing financial state support under financial leasing contracts, according to which the state program "Affordable Financial Leasing 5-7-9%" is being implemented.

Currently, compensation rates for loans at the level of 0% per annum have been canceled; excluded from the lending and leasing programs of business entities in order to prevent the emergence and spread, localization and elimination of outbreaks of epidemics and pandemics of acute respiratory disease COVID-19, as well as to prevent and overcome their consequences, including the refinancing of such loans. In addition, the period during which agricultural commodity producers will have the opportunity to receive financial support for the sowing campaign has been extended, including with the possibility of extending the issued loans for carrying out sowing works. The structure of the specified Procedures has been simplified by presenting them in new editions.

Changes were also made to the Procedure for the use of state budget funds, provided for ensuring the functioning of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, in terms of supplementing the directions for the use of budget funds. Amendments were made to the Procedure for the exercise of powers by the State Treasury Service in a special regime under martial law conditions by determining the sequence of payments by the Treasury bodies to the Entrepreneurship Development Fund to cover the Fund's expenses for accompanying and ensuring the provision of state financial support to business entities.
