The Government Will Support Egg Producers

The Government of Ukraine has concluded a memorandum with the Union of Poultry Farmers of Ukraine. This is necessary in order to stabilize the price of chicken eggs. The press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy announced the signing of the document.

According to the memorandum, the government undertakes to support the producers of this type of product. As part of the document, they plan to create the necessary conditions and provide producers with resources to increase the number of chickens. Manufacturers will receive affordable loans to increase capacity. In addition, the government will ensure the stability of prices for feed products, especially grain fodder and oilseeds.

The press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy said in its release that this step is aimed at stabilizing prices for chicken eggs. Producers undertook to saturate the market with eggs by increasing the number of laying hens.
