The largest part of Ukrainian agricultural exports goes to China

From March to December 2022, Ukraine exported $1.24 billion worth of products to China. The majority of exports were agricultural products. AgroPortal.ua reports with reference to the Embassy of Ukraine in China.

According to reports, before the war, Ukraine exported the most corn, sunflower oil and meal to China. Moreover, according to the results of 2021, Ukraine was the largest exporter of sunflower oil and meal to China and the second largest exporter of corn after the United States. As part of the "grain initiative", exports to China will gradually resume in the summer of 2022.

"Of course, we are not currently talking about a complete recovery of pre-war volumes, but statistics show a monthly increase, starting from autumn, for our key export items - corn, barley, vegetable oil, meal. Exporters of dairy products and beef also continue to work," the Embassy noted.
