The level of Passage of Ships Through the Bosphorus Remains at a Critically Low Level

The negative trend with the passage of too few ships through the Bosphorus continues. Due to the actions of the terrorist country of the Russian Federation, an average of only 2.5 ships pass through the strait per day. The Ministry of Infrastructure made the corresponding statement.

The indicator of 2.5 ships per day is identical to that at the beginning of the grain initiative. Then the volumes were much smaller than today. This situation is due to the artificial blocking of inspections by representatives of the Russian Federation. They carry out inspections of no more than three ships per day.

At the moment, 117 ships are waiting to pass through the Bosphorus. Of these, 92 are intended for loading, and 25 are already loaded with agricultural products and are awaiting exit from the Black Sea. Last week, only 20 inspections were carried out with the required indicator of 84.
