The queue for passage through the “grain corridor” in the Bosphorus has grown to almost 150 ships

As Russia continues to block inspections of vessels in the Bosphorus heading to and from Ukrainian ports under the Grain Initiative, 145 vessels are waiting in line for inspection by the Joint Coordination Center as of February 12, of which 122 are heading to Ukrainian ports for agricultural products.

Over the past week, 25 ships exported 1.1 million tons of agricultural products from Ukrainian ports to African, Asian and European countries.

“Compared to the previous week, the volume of exports through the ports of Big Odessa increased by 152 thousand tons. At the same time, the indicator of new ships entering for loading continues to decrease. Last week, the ports of Greater Odessa accepted only 16 ships, the week before last - 25,” the message says.

Now there are 18 ships in the ports of Big Odessa. They load 584.5 thousand tons of Ukrainian food. At the same time, only 1 vessel moves along the grain corridor after the inspection.

In total, as part of the "grain initiative" on August 1, 732 ships left the ports of Greater Odessa, which exported 21 million tons of Ukrainian food to the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa. This volume should have been more than 35 million tons in the normal functioning of the corridor.
