The rate of food shipments through the Grain Corridor continues to decline

During the 29th week of the grain corridor operation, 760,000 tons of agricultural products were sent through the ports in the Odessa region. This is a third less than the previous week. This is stated in the report of the Association "Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business." The lion's share was corn – 52% of the total number of shipped agricultural products. Wheat accounted for 25%, and sunflower cake accounted for 9%.

From 13 to 19 February, 22 ships were loaded in the ports. This is four less than the previous week. Agricultural products are sent to China, Turkey, Bangladesh, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Egypt, Kenya, Tunisia, and other countries.

The reason for such low shipping rates is the slowdown in inspections in Turkey due to the actions of representatives of the terrorist country of the Russian Federation. The artificial slowdown does not allow the export channel to operate at full capacity. Because of this, queues of ships are created at the entrance and exit in the Bosphorus. At the same time, the issue of extending the grain initiative is already being considered. The work on the deal is expected to start this week.
