Three Ports of Ukraine Are Preparing to Resume Work

Ports "Odessa", "Yuzhne", and "Chernomorsk" are preparing to resume work. Despite the missile attack on the Odessa port by the Russian invaders, the preparation of all three ports continues.

The Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration also explained how ships will enter these ports. The ships will pass in a caravan. They will follow the ship, which will show a safe path. Marine operators whose vessels will carry out the export of grain from these three ports must apply for inclusion in the caravan.

However, the missile attack on the port of Odessa forced officials to look for possible alternatives to the "Istanbul Treaty". The United States is developing a "Plan B" in case of failure of agreements on the export of grain. The export of grain may be provided by various logistic ways – by road, rail, or river transport. There are also plans to improve the consistency of Ukrainian and European railways to speed up the passage of trains.
