Ukraine exported 5.5 thousand tons of sugar in May

In January-May 2020, Ukrainian producers exported 60.09 thousand tons of sugar in the amount of $ 22.13 million.

This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

The export of Ukrainian sugar in May amounted to 5.53 thousand tons.

The main importers of Ukrainian sugar since the beginning of 2020 were:

Turkey - 11.91 thousand tons for $ 4.39 million (19.82%);
Lebanon - 8.22 thousand tons for $ 3.03 million (13.68%);
Libya - 7.79 thousand tons for $ 2.87 million (12.97%);
others - 32.17 thousand tons for $ 11.85 million (53.54%).

Recall that the average value of the Sugar Price Index in May was 155.6 points, which is 10.7 points (7.4%) higher than in April.
