Ukraine Has Agreed on the Supply of Poultry to Liberia

The Republic of Liberia, located in West Africa, has opened its market for Ukrainian chicken. This was reported by the State Food and Consumer Service of Ukraine. The sanitary service of the West African country issued a certificate of conformity, which allows producers from Ukraine to start supplying products. The Liberian market will be supplied with poultry products.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba said that African markets were out of the focus of Ukraine for a long time, but now the situation is changing. The approval of the certificate of conformity will allow producers to discover a new market and new opportunities. Liberia will become another country where agricultural holdings will be able to supply products with high added value.

The head of the State Food and Consumer Service Vladislava Mahaletska said that Ukraine is showing great interest in the supply of crop and livestock products to Africa. Liberia was one of the first countries to offer this opportunity. The State Consumer Service will continue to work on the harmonization of certificates with other African countries.
