Ukraine Has Increased the Volume of Exports to the EU by More Than 50%

Trade between Ukraine and the European Union continues to grow. Within the framework of the 6th meeting of the Ukraine-EU Association Committee, issues of further increasing the volume and adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to EU requirements were discussed.

The head of the State Food and Consumer Service Vladyslava Magaletska took part in the meeting of the committee. She issued a statement on the success of trade interactions. For 9 months of 2021, the volume of trade increased by 54%, and this affected various areas. The supply of both raw materials and finished products is increasing. Exports of finished products increased by 25% compared to the period from January to October 2021.

Magaletska also noted that the increase in trade is taking place against the backdrop of converging economies. According to her, the State Food and Consumer Service is actively working to remove all obstacles to trade.
