Ukraine is the record holder for exporting dairy products to Europe

The First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Taras Vysotskyi, announced on the air of the national marathon “Edyny Novyny" that Ukraine has an absolute record for the sale of dairy products to Europe. 

According to him, Ukraine exports not only raw materials, but also processed products. Exports of livestock products to the EU increased, including poultry meat and eggs. There is also an increase in the export of bioethanol to the EU.

In general, as noted by Taras Vysotskyi, the same currency receipts as in 2022 are tentatively expected for next year.

Currently, according to him, in the conditions of the war, the agricultural sector has become the basis of Ukrainian exports and, accordingly, the guarantor of foreign currency income from trade. Four of the top 5 positions of goods that Ukraine sold last year were occupied by food and agricultural products. The agrarian part made up 53% of all exports last year. The total cost of production is more than $23 billion.
