Ukraine Will Develop Cooperation With Kazakhstan in the Agricultural Sector

Ukraine and Kazakhstan are planning to build up bilateral cooperation. This was discussed at a meeting between the Head of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine Alexei Lyubchenko and Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Kaletaev.

According to Aleksey Lyubchenko, Ukraine and Kazakhstan have many areas in which cooperation can be increased. In particular, they talked about the energy sector and agriculture. On June 18, the 14th meeting of the joint Commission of Ukraine and Kazakhstan on economic cooperation will take place, and during the meeting, the possibility of deepening cooperation will be discussed. One of the topics for discussion will be logistics, in particular, the increase in traffic along the Trans-Caspian route.

The Kazakhstan market is one of the most promising Asian markets for Ukraine. The Ministry of Economy is also considering the possibility of exporting pork to Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Singapore. In addition, Ukraine has agreed on a veterinary certificate for the production of small ruminants with Kuwait.
