Ukrainian Brand Began Supplying Blueberries to Malaysia

The Ukrainian company Family Garden was the first to start supplying blueberries to Malaysia. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba. According to him, the delivery process took 6 months. This is exactly how much time has passed from the moment the application was submitted to the delivery of the first batch of berries to Malaysia.

As of 28 July 2021, 2 shipments of organic blueberries have already arrived in Malaysia. The total weight of the berry is about 2 tons net. Shipment will be carried out weekly until September.

The Minister noted that export makes Ukraine stronger from an economic point of view, and this is important for the whole country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to search for new partners for Ukrainian business. Kuleba promised that soon new markets will be opened for small and medium-sized companies.

Also, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia Oleksandr Nechitailo made a comment on the supplies. He stated that organic blueberries are competitive in the Malaysian market. Malaysia appreciated the high standards and geography of exporters and therefore decided to start importing. Nechitailo also noted that organic blueberries from Ukraine will be sold in most major retail chains in Malaysia.
