Ukrainian farmers created more than 900 agricultural companies during the year of the war.

From February 24, 2022 to February 12 of the current year, 17,100 new companies were registered in Ukraine, of which 919 companies are engaged in the cultivation of grain, oil and leguminous crops, and 590 companies are engaged in grain trade. The relevant information is disclosed in the research conducted by YouControl Market.

The lowest number of business registrations was in March 2022. Only 14 new companies were created then. And after that, a rapid recovery of the pace of opening a new business or re-registration of an old one into new legal entities began.

YouControl financial analyst Roman Kornilyuk noted that the prerequisites for the start of recovery were liberation from the occupation of the northern regions and adaptation of business in conditions of military and financial support from allies.

The largest number of newly opened businesses since the beginning of hostilities was registered in Kyiv - 36% of newly created companies. In second place is Lviv region (9.2% of new companies), in third place is Dnipropetrovsk region (7.6%).
