Український «Мед мінних полів» отримав бронзову нагороду на фестивалі «Каннських левів» Ukrainian

The Ukrainian project "Honey of Minefields" was shortlisted at the Cannes Lions Festival and received a bronze award in the Outdoor: Promotional Items & Printed Media category. Actually, the limited product "Honey of Minefields" was created by the company Saatchi & Saatchi Ukraine together with the agricultural company Kernel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Union of Beekeepers of Ukraine and Dronarium Ukraine. The purpose of the campaign is to draw attention to the issue of Ukraine being mined.

As part of the campaign, the drones, in order to avoid contact with mines, sowed fields with honey-bearing plants, from which bees collected honey. Beehives were placed near a mined field, but on land where there are no mines. At the same time, special hives in the form of warning signs about the danger of mines were developed for the project. "Honey of minefields" will be sent to diplomats and influential persons to attract international partners to demining Ukraine.

In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at one time, back in 2023, it was noted that the collected honey should become a powerful means of communication about the problem of mined lands in order to attract even more international partners and donors to demining. Ukrainian diplomats will take minefield honey with them to meetings and international visits and will give it to diplomats and public figures around the world.

"This project will allow the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to draw more attention to the problem of Russian mining of Ukrainian land and to mobilize additional resources for its solution. Military diplomacy uses every opportunity to achieve a result," said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba on this occasion.
