Online auctions within the Land Bank project will start in Ukraine on the 1st of June. As stated by the Fund of the Sovereign Land of Ukraine, these auctions reveal the possibility of a visionary lease of the Sovereign lands. Thus, the project creates equal minds for all participants in the market, where everyone has the opportunity to take part in online auctions on fair minds, and its main purpose is to provide new opportunities for the development of the agricultural state.

According to the Foundation's experts, the number of public auctions for the lease of sovereign lands is steadily increasing - there are already 65 of them and the stench of 9 regions of Ukraine is smelling. The largest number of land plots are located in the Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhya and Cherkasy regions. In fact, today's farmers and agricultural companies may be able to reclaim over 4,000 hectares of land. At the auctions, land plots are presented from small dominions of 2 hectares to large tracts of 262 hectares. The starting price of the rental is 9 thousand. hryvnia to 1.14 million UAH. However, you will be able to find a proposition that will be indicated in the near future of the online auction.

We would like to remind you that the Sovereign Land Fund of Ukraine recently completed the process of corporatization of the sovereign enterprise “Agricultural Investment Fund”, creating on its basis the LLC “Sovereign Land Bank”. The newly created partnership, which is 100% owned by the state, is the first sovereign operator of lands of agricultural significance in Ukraine. This is a necessary final stage in the implementation of the “Land Bank” project before the official launch of the first online auctions for the lease of sovereign lands.

Let us remind you that over 20% of agricultural lands in Ukraine have not yet been included in the cadastre. In addition, the government of Ukraine expects that the inventory of all rural lands in the region will increase additional costs to local budgets of up to 28 billion UAH. In the opinion of Prime Minister Denis Shmigal, it is necessary to cooperate with the supply of a larger tax base for local budgets. I also appreciate that to speed up the process of land inventory, the central government and the regions signed a memorandum of agreement.
