A Land Operations Control System Will Be Introduced in Ukraine

The State Service for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre is developing a control system for operations with land plots. This was reported in a press release from the department. The new order will change the rules for monitoring land relations, which is an important step for the correct operation of the land market in Ukraine.

The monitoring system will be available online, and people will be able to get all the necessary information quickly and conveniently. The service will contain the following information:

  • Cadastral data;
  • Location of plots;
  • Register of property rights to land plots;
  • Information about operations (purchase and sale, rent, exchange, other types of assignment of rights);
  • Data on the owners of land areas from 100 hectares;
  • Results of litigation;
  • Decisions on the privatization of land plots, etc.

The service will also display the results of monitoring prices for land plots (from minimum to maximum).

The acting head of the State Cadastral Service Serhii Zavadsky noted that the launch of a publicly available monitoring and control system is the foundation for the development of sound rules and requirements for land relations. In addition, the service will provide transparency of land transactions. Also, the State Geocadastre plans to use the obtained data for analysis and search for trends and problems in land management at the district, regional, and state levels.
