Agrarians will be booked according to new rules

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has approved new sectoral criteria for determining enterprises and organizations that are important for the national economy in the field of agriculture in a special period.

According to the reports of a number of mass media, such enterprises will be determined by the area of ​​land in circulation, the amount of annual income and the amount of taxes paid. In addition, it will be important whether the enterprise is in the sphere of management of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

We would like to remind you that the Government recently decided to automatically extend the current reservations from mobilization by one month, but not longer than until February 28, 2025. This applies to bookings that were valid as of December 19, 2024 and provided pursuant to the January 27, 2023 resolution. This decision is related to the temporary suspension of state registers due to a cyber attack. As explained by the department, if the employee's reservation period ended on December 20, 2024, it will be automatically extended until January 20, 2025. If the reservation was completed before December 19, that is, before the cyber attack, employers will be able to renew it after the resumption of the registers.

This decision allows conscripts with a valid reservation to keep it without unnecessary procedures. Thus, the Government ensured transparency and convenience in these processes, which is important in wartime. Also, according to government officials, reservations made by the Ministry of Economy or through the Diya portal are automatically extended for a month.

We will remind that on December 19, a large-scale Russian cyber attack on the state registers of Ukraine took place, after which a number of significant problems arose. In particular, the services of the State Register of Rights to Immovable Property are currently not working. Thus, it is currently impossible to register the right of ownership under the contract of purchase and sale of property, including agricultural land plots or the right to rent.
