EU Set Quotas for Grain Supplies From Ukraine

The European Union has set the size of the quota for the supply of grain from Ukraine. Agricultural producers from our country will be able to ship 77.833 thousand tons of wheat in February. This amount is allocated within the framework of the scheme of tariff import quotas, without payment of duties.

The quota for Ukrainian wheat for 2022 is also known. The European Union has allocated a limit of 1 million tons of grain for agricultural enterprises of our country, of which 65.597 thousand tons is the quota for January and 77.833 thousand tons for February. Thus, for the remaining 10 months, Ukrainian enterprises will be able to use the limit of 852.57 thousand tons of grain.

 In addition, the European Union agreed on the supply of barley from Ukraine. The quota for the barley was 1.21 thousand tons in February after 19.57 thousand tons in January. For the remaining 10 months of 2022, Ukrainian enterprises will be able to export another 329.22 thousand tons of barley. On the other hand, the EU will not buy corn in February. There were also no deliveries in January.
