Harvest-2023: more than 11 million tons of grain were threshed

As of July 28, harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was carried out on an area of 2,672 thousand hectares. According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, the yield was 42.2 quintals per hectare.

The volume of threshing amounted to 11 million 224 thousand tons of grain:
• 1816 thousand hectares of wheat were threshed (yield - 44.4 centners per hectare), 8063.1 thousand tons were threshed;
• 730.8 thousand hectares of barley were threshed (yield - 39.4 quintals per hectare), 2881.3 thousand tons were threshed;
• 113.3 thousand hectares of peas were threshed (yield - 24.7 quintals per hectare), 280.1 thousand tons were threshed.

The leaders in the collection of grain are the agricultural producers of Mykolaiv Oblast, who harvested from 414.8 thousand hectares, and the largest threshing was recorded in Odesa Oblast - 1.8 million tons.
