Lemtrans Group plans to build another "Dry Port" in Kyiv Region

Levada Cargo, part of the Lemtrans Group, plans to build a container terminal in Fastiv, Kyiv region. As Oleksandr Tkachuk, Director of Terminal Network Development at Levada Cargo, said at the Economic Forum 2025: "Platform for Development," the terminal in Fastiv will become a strategic link in the development of transport logistics in the region. The project will: optimize logistics chains, expand export opportunities for Ukrainian producers, and create conditions for integrating local businesses into world trade.

It is worth recalling that last year, Lemtrans invested UAH 478 million in logistics and infrastructure projects, which is three times more than in 2023. The main focus was on the development of the terminal and container business, where the amount of investment amounted to UAH 441 million. In September 2024, the Lemtrans Group completed the first stage of construction and opened the Vinnytsia Container Terminal, and at the end of the year completed the second stage of construction.

This terminal will become a key logistics link for transportation in the central part of Ukraine. The capacity of the Vinnytsia Container Terminal is about 20 thousand TEU/year and is designed for the transportation of goods such as niche grain crops and transshipment cargoes (including oil). Investments in the project amounted to about $15 million.

The Vinnytsia Container Terminal has already received its first train thanks to cooperation with UZ CARGO POLAND and the Liski Transport Service Center of JSC Ukrainian Railways. The first batch of cargo exceeded 60 TEU. This regular service will connect the Polish port of Gdansk with the Vinnytsia Container Terminal. In addition, cargo owners will be able to regularly send containers to the terminals of Greater Odesa, and in the future, by rail to Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, and the Netherlands.
