Outbreak of African swine fever detected in the Kharkiv region

An outbreak of African swine fever (ASF) was detected in the Bogodukhiv district of the Kharkiv region. This is reported by the State Consumer Protection Service in the Kharkiv region. It is reported that the pathological material was found in the laboratory of the Poltava region. Two samples of material from domestic pigs were positive.

At the moment, specialists from the State Consumer Service are working in the Bohodukhiv district. Measures are being taken to prevent the spread of infection outside the area.
