The amount of compensation for the purchase of agricultural machinery reached a record 250 million hryvnias

The reporting October of the current year became a record for the program of partial compensation (in the amount of 25%) of the cost of Ukrainian-made agricultural machinery. According to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, farmers spent UAH 1.2 billion on the purchase of equipment and received UAH 250.9 million in compensation from the state.

Thus, it can be assumed that the program is gaining popularity. If in the first month of the program's operation, in April of the current year, farmers submitted only three applications for four units of equipment with compensation of 220 thousand UAH, then in October - 894 applications for compensation for 1,546 pieces of equipment. In general, since April, farmers have purchased equipment worth UAH 3.1 billion. The state compensated UAH 645.2 million against the program's annual budget of UAH 900.17 million.

It is known that the largest compensation amounts for October were transferred through PrivatBank (UAH 59.2 million), Oschadbank (UAH 55.3 million) and FUIB (UAH 36 million). In total, 33 banks are currently participating in the program. And 138 Ukrainian enterprises participate in the program, offering 11.8 thousand units of equipment.

According to experts, this is "clear evidence that the state support mechanism works effectively, and Ukrainian manufacturers have the capabilities and necessary capacities to meet the growing demand for agricultural machinery."

Recently, the government expanded the list of agricultural machinery and equipment for the purchase of which farmers can receive compensation. 7 manufacturers of agricultural machinery joined the program, which made it possible to increase the list by 324 positions.

To use the state program, farmers must choose a supplier from the official list, purchase the necessary equipment and submit an application to an authorized bank along with supporting documents. And producers who wish to include their products in the List can apply to the Ministry of Economy. There, the list of machinery and equipment is regularly updated, and the compliance of manufacturers is checked according to the criteria determined by the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers.
