The Area of Land for Which Transactions Are Registered Has Increased 3 Times
The total area of land on which transactions are carried out within the framework of the land market is growing at an active pace. Indicators for August exceeded those for July by almost 3 times. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Taras Dzioba.
Dzioba cited statistics, according to which the total area of land on which transactions were carried out in August amounted to 17.3 thousand hectares. In July, this figure was 6 thousand hectares, respectively, there is an almost threefold difference. Dzioba drew attention to the trend towards an increase in transactions, which testifies to the growing confidence in the reform on the part of the population.
The average number of registered transactions per day is 200, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. The average area of the land plot sold is 2 hectares. The most active deals are being made in the Poltava region. Transactions were carried out here on 2.7 thousand hectares, which is equivalent to 0.12% of the total area of cultivated agricultural land. The second place is occupied by the Kharkiv region with an indicator of 0.10% of the total area, the third place is taken by the Kirovohrad region, where transactions were carried out with 0.09% of the agricultural fund. It is reported that 65% of transactions are concluded with marketable land, and 35% is the share of personal agriculture.
