The Cabinet of Ministers Will Simplify the Export of Products for Ukrainian Farmers

On Wednesday, May 26, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution aimed at simplifying access to export markets for small and medium-sized businesses in the agricultural sector. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers said that farmers will be able to quickly obtain information on the requirements for products in export markets, where they intend to sell goods. The government has established a procedure for the use of funds for the installation of checkpoints at the borders. The Prime Minister noted that UAH 75 million will be allocated for the implementation of the program to simplify the access of farmers to world markets.

The explanatory note to the decree states that the funds will be used to promote the access of agricultural enterprises to export markets by creating an interactive information system. It will contain information on safety requirements and export regulations. The funds will also be used for the construction of border inspection posts.
