The problem of shortage of personnel in Ukraine can be solved by automating processes

In the last 2 years, during the war, the problem of shortage of personnel has worsened in Ukraine, particularly in agriculture, as migration processes and mobilization have sharply reduced the number of qualified personnel. According to experts, it is possible to partially solve this problem at elevators and logistics facilities due to the automation of production processes.

As Oleksandr Todurov, the head of the marketing department of the Art Port company, noted, in particular, in an interview with APC-Inform, it is currently difficult to find a qualified employee, so many companies are already resorting to automation of production processes: technological, managerial and accounting. In particular, the transfer of all paper work with goods and transport invoices to the electronic version is in progress. This can significantly ease the lives of many employees and companies, as well as significantly increase the efficiency of their work.

We will remind that the spring sowing campaign in Ukraine in a number of regions revealed a lack of personnel to go into the fields. According to the Deputy Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council, Denys Marchuk, the lack of personnel is related to mass mobilization. It affected many people living in agricultural areas. In this regard, Denys Marchuk noted that the reservation system in the agricultural sector exists, but it needs significant improvement. In particular, the booking process currently takes 1-2 months and this makes it inefficient. Currently, an electronic reservation project has been developed in Ukraine, which should significantly speed up the process and is expected to be operational in the near future.

But in Poland this year, there may be a problem with finding a sufficient number of seasonal workers to pick strawberries. Experts believe that the situation will become more and more difficult and this will significantly affect the economy of the entire country. As SAD24.pl reports with reference to representatives of recruiting companies, there will be a labor shortage this season and its scale will be quite noticeable. This problem in Poland is associated with the strengthening of mobilization in Ukraine, in particular with the lowering of the conscription age of men in Ukraine from 27 to 25 years old, due to which many young people will not be able to go abroad. In the future, the problem will intensify and workers from Asia or Africa will not solve it.
