The State Agrarian Register has collected information on over 200,000 farmers

Over 200,000 users have already registered in the State Agrarian Register. According to the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Vitaliy Koval, as of the end of March 2025, 72.6% of registered DAR users are individuals, 16.6% are legal entities, and 10.8% are individual entrepreneurs.

Currently, the system accounts for about 7 million land plots with a total area of approximately 20 million hectares, which is more than 80% of the total area of agricultural land in Ukraine. The register also records over 573,000 cows, 320,000 sheep, and 54,000 goats. At the same time, the active growth in the number of system participants confirms that the Register has become an effective platform for providing state and international support to the agricultural sector. Currently, almost all existing state and international support programs for the agricultural sector are implemented through the State Agrarian Register.

In particular, agricultural producers submit applications for support per hectare, maintenance of cattle, sheep and goats, subsidies for the reconstruction or construction of irrigation networks, as well as for special programs for farms from de-occupied and frontline territories.

By the way, the government recently changed the terms of participation in the program for compensation of 25% of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural machinery, excluding VAT. From now on, only those farmers who are registered in the State Agrarian Register will be able to use it. The relevant resolution was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the proposal of the Ministry of Economy. According to the Deputy Minister of Economy Andriy Telyupa, these changes will help Ukraine fulfill its international obligations. In addition, the requirements for the agricultural producers themselves were clarified. To receive compensation, at least 75% of sold products in the last year must be agricultural goods or services. For newly established companies, this norm will be calculated separately for each reporting period.

It should be noted that in March, farmers already received the first compensation in 2025 - UAH 126.6 million for equipment purchased in December 2024 and January 2025. New applications for February and March are still under consideration. The list of available equipment is constantly updated. It currently contains 11,910 units of equipment from 144 Ukrainian manufacturers.
