The State Agrarian Register Was Launched in Ukraine

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine has launched a platform for interaction between the state and agricultural producers. The platform was named "State Agrarian Register" or "SAR" for short. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy Denys Bashlyk.

Agricultural producers registered in the SAR will be able to receive the necessary assistance from the state. These can be government subsidies, loans, and technical assistance from the countries of the European Union or other international bodies.

The SAR is intended to solve the problem of bureaucracy that exists when receiving financial or technical assistance. Previously, the procedure was so complicated that many farmers simply refused to participate in the programs. Accordingly, the effectiveness of the programs was very low.

The SAR is designed to remedy this situation. The registration procedure in the system will take several minutes. Any farmer whose enterprise is officially registered can participate, regardless of the cultivated area or the number of animals on the farm. At the same time, the State Agrarian Register will be secured. Disclosure of data is possible either with the consent of the farmers or by a court decision.
