Ukraine Will Revise Export Quotas for the Supply of Agricultural Products to the EU

Ukraine plans to revise export quotas for agricultural products for the European Union. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Roman Leshchenko. The corresponding statement was made after the minister's meeting with his German counterpart Uwe Feiler.

Feiler said that Germany is ready to support Ukraine in revising quotas for the supply of agricultural products to the countries of the European Union. Leshchenko noted that Germany highly appreciates cooperation with Ukraine in the field of agricultural policy and sees a powerful partner with great potential for investment in our country. According to Leshchenko, Germany considers quotas for agricultural products unfair for Ukraine.

The minister said that he and his German counterpart agreed to deepen cooperation in terms of the "green course" and Ukraine's integration into the EU database in the area of agricultural products. In addition, the German Ministry of Agrarian Policy is ready to provide expert support for the adaptation of the Ukrainian department to the European model.
