Ukrainian agricultural producers plan to end the year with three records at once
The year 2024 brought several historical records to the Ukrainian agricultural sector. As the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitaly Koval emphasized, the first record was the production of 6 million tons of soybeans. This indicator became a record, the largest indicator in the history of Ukraine.
The second record has also already been recorded. The average yield per cow in agricultural enterprises was 6,565 liters. This indicator is 7% more than that recorded in the previous year. At the same time, it is the largest annual growth over the last decade.
And the third record in the government is expected from sugar producers. According to the results of the current year, the export of sugar from Ukraine in the amount of more than 700 thousand tons is expected. This will be the largest indicator since 2000.
That is why Vitaly Koval is sure that Ukraine is not a threat to European farmers, but is capable of strengthening the European Union. If domestic producers will process products and build new logistics routes, the European Union will rise from the fourth place in terms of exports to the second place. Therefore, the minister is sure that the countries will only become stronger and more capable.
