Ukrainian farmers can receive grants on the Diya portal
In "Dia" they started accepting applications for grants for their own business, horticulture and greenhouse farming. As emphasized by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the program offers financing up to 250,000 rubles for your own business. hryvnias, and for residents of Kharkiv and the region - up to 500,000 UAH.
To submit an application, you need to register in "Action" using BankID or an electronic signature, fill out the application, add a business plan according to the established form, sign and send the documents. A decision on the application will be received within 15 working days. At the same time, farmers who plan to create gardens can receive up to 400,000. UAH per hectare. For this, it is necessary to submit an application through the "Action" portal together with the planting project and accompanying documentation. The project must be signed by the developer. It must meet the established criteria. The review of the application will take up to 10 working days. Greenhouse grants include funding of UAH 2 million for greenhouses with an area of 0.4-0.6 ha, UAH 3.5 million for 0.8-1.2 ha, and UAH 7 million for 1.6-2.4 ha.
By the way, in 2024, 111 agricultural producers received grant aid for the development of gardens and greenhouses for UAH 477.2 million. 78 enterprises received assistance in the amount of UAH 320.2 million for the development of horticulture, berry growing and viticulture. UAH 157 million was allocated to support the greenhouse economy, which went to 34 enterprises.
It should be noted that since December 16 of last year, the State Agrarian Register has started accepting applications for the third grant cycle within the grant program financed by the European Union. The cycle will last until January 24, 2025. The program is aimed at supporting the agricultural sector of Ukraine and promoting its competitiveness. Grants will be paid in hryvnias at the UN exchange rate. The third grant cycle will expand its geography, including certain districts of Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Lviv, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Chernivtsi regions. In the Lviv region, support will be focused on berry growing, vegetable growing, aquaculture, dairy production, and non-wood forest products. In Transcarpathia, producers of local honey, wine and traditional Hutsul cheeses, such as cow and sheep bryndza, as well as agricultural producers in the fields of aquaculture, berry growing, vegetable growing and non-wood forest products can receive support
Also, in Ukraine, they began to accept applications from farmers for support. Eight enterprises will receive over UAH 49 million in grants for the creation or development of processing plants. Since the beginning of the program, 1,000 applications for grants in the amount of UAH 5 billion have been approved. Thanks to grants, manufacturers will modernize equipment, increase production volumes or product range, and create new jobs. Among the enterprises that will receive grants by order of the Ministry of Economy are also companies working in the field of food products. Companies submitted applications for grants from UAH 1.5 million to UAH 8 million. The State Employment Center will make a decision on providing grants in the amount of UAH 59 million to 11 more producers who also won the wave. You can get a grant on the terms of co-financing: up to 50% of the cost is covered by the grant, the rest is paid by the processor.
