Ukrainian farmers were robbed of 5 million tons of grain
Over the past year, Russia has stolen about 5 million tons of grain from Ukrainian farmers. According to the "Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business" association, it is difficult to calculate the exact figure, because it currently does not have access to accurate data and there are problems with tracking the logistics of this grain. The transportation is partially tracked through the vessels used by the occupiers to send Ukrainian products from Crimea, Taman and Novorossiysk. It is also possible to track the movement of stolen raw materials by rail.
However, the amount of grain stolen by the occupiers will be somewhat smaller this year. After all, there are certain problems that affected the reduction of the harvest. This is due to the fact that last year it was very difficult for the farmers of Kherson region, Luhansk region and Zaporizhzhia. Many people left, there are problems with raw materials. And grain prices are not very attractive now. Therefore, losses this year can be estimated at the level of 3 million tons.
