Українські аграрії цьогоріч опанували 15 нових ринків Ukrainian farmers have mastered 15 new markets this year

In the current year, 15 new export markets were opened for Ukrainian manufacturers. According to the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, this year Ukrainian producers began supplying honey to China, egg products to Canada, canned feed and chewable items for pets to Albania, semi-finished poultry meat to Moldova, various types animal feed to Israel.

One of the stages of market opening is conducting international evaluations of the production control system. In total, more than 30 such international assessments have been conducted over the past 10 years. In fact, Ukraine already has access to the export of agricultural products in 340 trade directions, in the next five years it is planned to open 240 more. For this, work is underway with more than 60 countries regarding products of plant and animal origin.

It should be noted that within the framework of Ukraine's integration into the EU, Chapter 12 of requirements related to food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary policy constitutes 19% of the volume of requirements that Ukraine faces in general. Implementation of EU requirements for Ukraine is now one of the priorities. But at the same time, it is important for Ukraine to defend the interests of Ukrainian business. In particular, the current tasks include maintaining stable trade with partner countries, removing barriers that prevent exports, removing restrictions on the export of certain types of products, and simplifying certification and transit procedures.
