USAID will support the development of elevator capacities in Ukraine

The USAID Program for Agrarian and Rural Development (AGRO) will support Ukrainian enterprises engaged in the drying, storage and processing of grain and technical crops. Currently, up to 15 co-financing projects with a total budget of up to UAH 36 million have been planned.

It is expected that the projects will increase the volumes and time of storage of grain and industrial crops. This will allow agricultural producers to receive the necessary services on time and in the required volume. And the grain drying and finishing facilities will preserve the quality of the products. In general, according to experts, this will contribute to business sustainability and improve food security in Ukraine.

Currently, the USAID AGRO program is already encouraging applications from Ukrainian companies and enterprises that provide processing and storage services, have elevator facilities, and have developed or started developing project documentation.
