The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine updated the status of critical enterprises for the first 7 enterprises according to new criteria. They were the first to go through the criticality update procedure and were given the opportunity to reserve employees for a period of up to 12 months.

However, those companies that have not updated the criticality can also book employees. In total, in the first two days of resuming booking through Diya, companies submitted 3,500 booking applications for 26,700 employees. Currently, businesses that have not yet upgraded but still have active critical status can book workers until February 28. After updating the criticality according to the new mandatory criteria, they will be able to book employees for a longer period of time - up to 12 months.

Currently, in order to receive the status of critical importance, private enterprises must meet two mandatory criteria: the average salary must be at least UAH 20,000 for the reporting period, and the enterprise must not have debts to the state or local budget for any taxes and fees. It is also necessary to meet one of the additional criteria - the sum of paid taxes and contributions must exceed €1.5 million, income in foreign currency must exceed €32 million, and the company itself has strategic importance for the state. At the same time, the company must be a resident of "Diya City" and have an important importance for the economy or the needs of the community.

We would like to remind you that, according to the new Cabinet of Ministers resolution regarding the reservation of conscripts for the period of mobilization and wartime, from December 1, 2024, the reservation of conscripts will take place exclusively through the "Diya" portal. Postponements from conscription for military service during mobilization, granted by decisions of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine or through the Diya portal, remain valid during the period for which they are granted, but no longer than until February 28, 2025.

It should be noted that from December 1, the option of canceling reservations through "Diya" became available. Cancellation of reservation is possible at the decision of the manager by submitting a substantiated application. However, a limit is set - no more than once a month.
