Named TOP-5 importing countries of Ukrainian dairy products

Directions of export trade of dairy products from Ukraine are diverse with a focus on Asian and European markets.

So, in the TOP-5 countries that in January – May 2020 bought Ukrainian dairy products were:

Moldova - in the amount of $ 13.5 million;
Georgia - $ 8.6 million;
Azerbaijan - $ 7.5 million;
China - $ 6.1 million;
Poland - $ 5.2 million

“In January – May, certain changes occurred in the rating of export counterparties. So, compared with April 2020, China came in fourth place ($ 6.1 million), while shifting Kazakhstan ($ 5.2 million) to fifth. The Netherlands climbed to ninth place, generally displacing the United States from the ten largest buyers of Ukrainian milk, ”analysts said.

At the same time, imports of dairy products to Ukraine are mainly European. TOP-5 countries from which milk comes to Ukraine:

Poland - $ 52.8 million;
Germany - $ 15.6 million;
France - $ 7.9 million;
Netherlands - $ 3.4 million;
Belarus - $ 2.7 million

“The TOP-5 importers of milk during January-May remains unchanged, individual shifts occurred only lower in the rating. So, the Czech Republic rose to 8th place, displacing Portugal, and Greece entered the TOP-10, which closes the top ten, ”the association said.

Recall that the company Villa Milk (Vinnitsa region) commissioned a robotic farm according to European standards.
