Ministry of Health allowed to open food markets

The Ministry of Health allowed local authorities to open food markets during quarantine, but ordered strict adherence to certain restrictions, said the decision of the chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko on March 30, the text of which was published on the website of the Ministry of Health.

According to the document, when trading on the markets, the following conditions must be observed:

• it should be a food market;
• on the market can be no more than one visitor per 20 square meters. m of retail space;
• the distance between customers in the queues should be at least 1.5 meters;
• traders and buyers should wear personal protective equipment;
• for weekend markets, the distance between points of sale must be at least 3 meters.
